Blair M. Shilleto
Chairman

A mining and investment entrepreneur, Mr. Shilleto formed and led his own mine contract company in a joint venture capacity and was subsequently involved in the resource investment industry. Since 1976, Blair has managed projects for notable clients including Cameco Corporation, Canamax Resources, Cordilleran Engineering, Geddes Resources, Minnova Inc, Peter Kiewit & Sons, Westmin Resources, Whitewater Engineering and United Keno Hill Mines. Mr. Shilleto is currently a consultant to the mining industry and an advisor to the resource investment sector for European based resource asset managers. Mr. Shilleto currently serves as a Director of Golden Predator Corp. and Silver Predator Corp. He was raised in Mayo, Yukon and is a member of the Na-cho Nyak Dun First Nation.

 

John Legg, BA, LLB
President & Director

Mr. Legg has 15 years experience with public resource companies and presently serves as a Director of Golden Predator Corp., Silver Predator Corp. and Tigris Uranium Corp. From 1994 through 2006 Mr. Legg was a securities lawyer in private practice, advising companies in natural resources, securities and corporate finance law, and from 2007 to 2009 Mr. Legg was Executive Vice-President of a private mining company operating in Mexico. Mr. Legg holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and an LLB from Dalhousie Law School, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.

 

Bradley Thiele
Director

Mr. Thiele, a Professional Engineer, is an independent mining consultant with over 45 years of extensive industry experience. Mr. Thiele served as Vice President of Project Development for the 7,500 tpd Meadowbank Gold Project for Cumberland Resources Ltd. from 2002 until 2007, through the acquisition of that company by Agnico-Eagle. Mr. Thiele’s broad range of expertise includes underground and open pit designs, development, operations and engineering throughout northern and western Canada, providing services to Newmont Mines Ltd, Pioneer Metals Corporation, United Keno Hill Mines Limited, Minnova Inc., Fairfield Minerals, and Placer Group. Mr. Thiele obtained his BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

 

Toby Pierce
Director

Mr. Pierce brings to Redtail a strong understanding of both the geological and financial aspects of the resource sector. Most recently he served as Partner & Senior Analyst with GMP Securities in London. Prior to GMP, Mr. Pierce served as Director of Institutional Research at Tristone Capital. Mr. Pierce has provided geological consulting services to numerous companies engaged in the mining and exploration industry across North and Latin America, and holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Business as well as a BSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Victoria.

 

Michael O'Brien, CA
Chief Financial Officer

Michael O'Brien brings more than 25 years of experience to the Company's financial management and regulatory compliance team. Since 2006 Mr. O'Brien served as Chief Financial Officer of Africo Resources Ltd. a TSX-Listed mineral exploration and development company with operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Prior to this Mr. O'Brien served as Chief Financial Officer of Irvin & Johnson Ltd., an international fishing and seafood processing company, and as Manager of Finance of Soekor Exploration and Production (Pty) Ltd. (now part of PetroSA,).

Mr. O'Brien qualified as a Chartered accountant in South Africa in 1986, and has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1991.  Mr. O’Brien currently serves as CFO for all Predator Mining Group’s companies.
